I formed ABC Distinguished Documents in 1998 after completing my Associate of Applied
Business degree in Office Administration at The University of Akron.
Today, I am an experienced entrepreneur and serve many small businesses and
individuals in the northeast Ohio area and beyond with word processing, typing
services, transcription, desktop publishing, electronic form creation, scanning,
and spreadsheet creation. I also help people get interviews and ultimately jobs
by writing creative, accomplishment-based, employer-focused résumés
and cover letters that get results.
On
numerous occasions I have presented seminars at career fairs in Akron and Canton
entitled "Winning Job Search Tools" covering those topics in detail.
I have also been interviewed by the Beacon Journal for articles in the newspaper
offering information on resumes and cover letters and tips for new graduates and
career changers.
I have the knowledge to assist job seekers with not only resumes and cover
letters but to also coach them in the many phases of their job search such as
networking, interview preparation, the use of a job search contact log, and the
post interview thank-you note or letter.
